What Is The Full Form Of BAMS?

BAMS full form is Bachelor in Ayurvedic medicine and surgery. The five-and-a-half-year Bachelor of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine (BAMS) curriculum includes in-depth studies of both traditional ayurvedic medicine and Western medicine.

Five and a half years in medical school, four and a half years in nursing, and a year of clinical rotations. The conventional method of treatment was the focus of several BMAS applications.

Eligibility criteria

  • Candidates must obtain a minimum of 45-50 percent in Biology from a recognized board in order to be considered for admission to the BAMS program.
  • To ensure that only those with the highest NEET scores are admitted to BAMS, the admissions process is managed centrally.
  • All prospective students must have taken biology, physics, and chemistry in high school.

Career opportunities after completing BAMS

  • Ayurvedic Drug Specialist jobs are available in both public and private Ayurveda clinics, and graduates who want to go into private practice can do so if they meet certain requirements.
  • Health care, the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, and related fields are good places to look for work in these fields.

Ayurvedic doctors, medical representatives, sales managers and executives, sales representatives, pharmacists, assistant claims managers, junior clinical trial coordinators, and many more professions are staffed by BAMS alums.
