The B ED full form is Bachelors of education. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree can be earned in just two years, and it serves as a springboard to careers as elementary school, middle school, and high school teachers.
An individual in India is only considered to be literate if they have attended school through at least the tenth grade.
But while the B.Ed is pursued after completing a bachelor’s, it cannot be considered a postgraduate degree. The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is the entry-level credential in the field, while the Master of Education (M.Ed) is the terminal degree for professionals in the field.
The applicant needs to get a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in any field (science, business, the arts, journalism, etc.).
According to current trends, a bachelor’s degree with a grade of at minimum 50% to 60% is required for entry into a B.Ed program.
