The duration of the course is 4-year that is symmetrically divided into three modules. These modules obtain elective course and compulsory course like – Research Methodology, Optional Courses, Financial and Cost Accounting, Economics Growth and Development, Corporate Tax Planning, Financial Engineering, Project Analysis Evaluation, Financing and more. FPM scopes aren't restricted to only the management field but it also expands to various Specializations in Information System, Human Resource Management, Business Policy and strategy etc. Graduates of FPM can also pursue their PhD after the completion of the programme, which means several job opportunities has been opened for you in both the academic field and corporate department. Graduates are getting hired at the position of Relation Manager, Management Representative, Logistics and Customer Service Officer, Development Manager, Marketing Manager Etc. 

FPM Course Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates who wish to pursue the FPM course must have completed their post-graduation with at least 55% of marks.
  • Aspirants should complete their graduation in MA, M.Com, MBA, and M.CA. M.Tech. 
  • Candidates with a professional degree like MBBS, LLB must have completed their qualification 55% aggregate to apply for FPM.
  • Apart from this qualification, candidates need to clear the CAT entrance exam for FPM.

The admission process of FPM course

In most cases, FPM admission is depending on the outcomes of the CAT. Under the FPM program, most universities offer a variety of specializations in a variety of fields. Candidates must have a genuine CAT score to be considered. However, if the individual has not taken the CAT, his or her GMAT or GRE results will be acceptable.

Several colleges, such as the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, also offer their entrance exam as an alternative for candidates who may not have the needed valid test results.

  • If an applicant is a PGP Graduate of any IIM, the IIM Ahmedabad doesn't require any exam results, and this is an exception.
  • The FPM program is administered by colleges such as IIM Indore, which has its entrance test.
  • Other examination results that are commonly recognized include UGC-JRF, CSIR, GATE, to name a few examples.

Final selection will be made based on candidates' performance in the CAT or the standardized test in place of CAT, educational credentials, & work experience. Candidates are shortlisted and invited to an interview in March-April 2020 for consideration for the position.
