Siksha `O` Anusandhan University

Siksha `O` Anusandhan or popular called as the SOA university, is one of the best Universities in India. This is a private deemed university that is located in the city of Bhubaneswar in Odisha. It was initially founded as the Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER) in the year 1997 in the city Bhubaneswar. Later it also received the approval for B.Tech from AICTE. Since then it has been affiliated to the Utkal University. From 2002 to 2007, it was affiliated to the Biju Patnaik University of Technology.

In the year 2007 this was declared as a deemed university by the University Grants Commission and that was all due to the contributions it made to technical education and training. It is spread on a land of 200 acres. SAAT is the common entrance exam that is accepted by the University for Admission into the courses. It has 114 courses to offer to the students.
