Silicon Institute of Technology

Silicon Institute of Technology was established in the year 2000-01, situated at Bhubaneswar, Odisha, and popularly known as SIT Bhubaneswar. The sub-campus of this institute was established in 2009-2010 at Sambalpur, Odisha. It majorly offers Undergraduate degree courses ( B.Tech, B.Tech Lateral) in different Specializations such as Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Electronics, and Instrumentation Engineering among others. It is accredited to the All India Council for Technical Education.

It is a private institute and affiliated with Utkal University and came under the Biju Patnaik University of Technology. It was awarded as the top-notch engineering college in Odisha state in the year 2018 by the ISTE. Admission to such courses is done on the basis of scores secured in the entrance exams such as GATE, PGAT and JEE Main, etc. It has well infrastructure including Central Library, Gym, Yoga, Laboratory and many more.
