Partnerships for the Goals
The SDGs are intended to be universal, integrated, and transformative, and to balance the economic, social, and environmental dimensions of sustainable development. They are also intended to be inclusive, leaving no one behind, and to be participatory, involving all stakeholders in their implementation. The SDGs are intended to be a “plan of action for people, planet, and prosperity” and to serve as a “blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet”. The SDGs are also to be met in a balanced way, both between and within countries.
