
EWS’s full form is Economically Weaker Sections. The term EWS refers to certain individuals or families whose income is below a specific limit. However, there may be other financial aspects that decide the economic status of a household/individual, but income is the major factor for that. In recent years, the Government of India has declared a 10% reservation quota for general category people. Also, EWS certificate eligibility is not limited to the annual income aspect.
