National Law Institute University

National Law Institute University, also known as NLIU Bhopal, was established in 1998 by the Madhya Pradesh Government under NLIU Act No. 41 of 1997. It is situated in the Bhopal state of India. NLIU Bhopal is recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI), also a member of National Law Universities (NLUs). It is a part of Consortium part of Asian Law Universities (ALI) and the International Association of Law Schools. It has also tie-up with 5 foreign universities.

The university prospectus highlights various courses under the field of Law including a 5-year integrated LLB course namely BA LLB (Hons.), but at present offers 3 more courses at PG level. Many specializations are offered to candidates like GST, Consumer Protection Laws and Practice, Cyber Law and Cyber Security and among others. The university is divided into 10 different cells namely  Environmental, Business and Commerce law, Moot Court Association, IPR, PURPLE, and many others.
