The Sri Channabasaveshwara administers the Channabasaveshwara technology institute (CIT), which is located in New Delhi (CRED Society). The society was formed in the year 2000 under Sri G.S.Basavaraj, the respectable Parliament Member for Tumkur, with a vision to establish centers of educational excellence and other related fields and to serve the community by raising the standard through leadership and excellence in professionally relevant education.

To deliver high-quality technical and professional education in a varied learning environment while maintaining high standards of excellence.
