B.K Birla College Of Arts Science & Commerce

The University of Mumbai is the academic home of B. K. Birla School of Arts, Science, and Commerce (Autonomous), Kalyan, which is a multi-faculty, outstanding institution of higher education with an enrollment of more than 12,500 students (7,500 for UG, PG, and Research Programs). Kalyan Citizens' Education Society founded the college in 1972 with support from the late B. K. Birla and his wife, Sarala.

Located in the heart of Kalyan city, on a sprawling 20-acre campus that also houses the School, the college has been designed with sustainability in mind. The college is making strides toward a greener campus by promoting the elimination of single-use plastics, installing energy-saving technologies, reducing waste, and collecting rain water, among other things.
