Patliputra University

The Government of Bihar founded Patliputra University, Patna on March 18, 2018. Except for the institutions that are part of the Patna University, all colleges in the Patna and Nalanda districts of Bihar (India) are part of the Patliputra University.

The University oversees a wide range of educational institutions, including 25 constituent colleges, 2 government girls' colleges, 3 minority colleges, and several affiliated colleges. In addition to offering courses in vocational, technical, and professional fields, several of these universities also operate post-graduate centers in a variety of disciplines.

Each of these affiliated units is administered by a local governing body and a management board that has been formally established and recognized by the parent institution.
