National Law University and Judicial Academy, also known as NLUJAA are one of the popular universities among 23 NLUs. It was established in 2009 under Assam Act by the Government of Assam. It has got autonomous status in the same year and has the aim to educate candidates in the field of law. Presently, the campus of this institute is situated in Guwahati, Assam. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Bar Council of India (BCI), and the AIU ( Association of Indian Universities).
It offers different courses such as BA-LLB ( Hons) as a 5-year Integrated program and LLM as a 1-year degree program. You can also pursue Ph.D. in Law through this university. The university provides accommodation facilities for both girls and boys separately, canteen facility, Library, transportation facility, and many other facilities.
