Madurai Kamaraj University

The Madurai Kamaraj Univerisity is a prominent college in the country which is owned by the Tamil Nadu Government. The university has cover 4 districts – Dindugal, Virudhunagar, Madhurai, and Theni. This university was established in 1966 that offers Undergraduate degree programs, Postgraduate level courses, and Doctoral courses. MKU is NAAC ( A-Grade) certified university and is approved by University Grant Commission, also the university is an important member of AIU.

In 2019, this university is in the 45^th position given by NIRF and 62^nd Position by Outlook. The university has offered a total of 22 scholarships, in which 13 scholarships are given to Indian students and 9 to International students. This edition comprises a total of 22 schools & 77 departments including 40 for the M.Phil Programme, 44 for Postgraduate courses, 57 for Ph.D. Programs and rest for certificate courses. Admission for the MKU is done through an entrance test or merit list based on the level of course.
