Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science was established in the year 1998, popularly known as MITS among students. This institute has been affiliated to JNTU, Anantapur and recognized by University Grant Commission (UGC). College’s campus is spread over 26.17 acres of land. It has collaborations and accreditations with NAAC, NBA and several international universities like the Maharashi Vedic University of Holland, the University of Technology of Czech Republic, Providence University of Taiwan, etc.
The college offers a total of 30 programmes across six different streams namely Hotel Management, Engineering, Science, Information technology, Art, spread over several degrees like MAM, MCA, M.Tech, B.Tech, MBA, so on. Apart from UG and PG courses, it aims to provide education of PhD courses in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Chemistry, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, and English.
