Dr Vaishampayan Memorial Government Medical College

This illustrious establishment was established in the year1963 by Dr. Vishnu. In 1974, MBBS programs at the undergraduate level received MCI approval. It was founded as a private institution but was nationalised in 1977.

In 1977, we were able to secure MCI approval for our master's degree program. The college has continued to grow and improve, and it is currently widely considered to be among the best in India for both undergraduate and graduate medical education.

The Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji (Civil Hospital) is connected to the university, and it has 733 hospital beds available.

In this college, you will study all of the material required for an MBBS degree. Majority of the faculty are well-respected doctors who have worked in the profession for at least twenty-five to thirty years.

You will be tested twice a year at college, and once at the conclusion of each of your four and a half years at university.
