BIT Ranchi and currently known as Birla institute of technology. It is a non-government institute situated in Mesra, Ranchi; in 1955. This popular university is recognized by the University Grants Commission & All India Council of Technical Education. Moreover, it has affiliated with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC ).

BIT Ranchi offers both Undergraduate and Postgraduates degree courses and also provides M.Phil and Ph.D. courses under various specializations.
