Admission for an MBA is provided based on the entrance test. The two most popular entrance tests for admission in MBA are GMAT and CAT. Once you appear in these exams, depending on your cut-off, you will be called for a Group Discussion and Personal Interview. All these factors are considered before the final admission is granted. It is not mandatory to have work experience for pursuing MBA, but it certainly helps to have some work experience.
