Pharm.D (Doctor of Pharmacy) Course

Introduction: The Doctor of Pharmacy is a doctorate level program that is of six-year duration for the Pre-Baccalaureate program. During the entire course, candidates will get 5 years of academic study and one year of internship. This course is often related to pharmacy, includes two levels of the PharmD programme. The first is PharmD-6 year Programme and the second is PharmD Post- Baccalaureate three year Programme. This professional course prepares candidates that how they can deal with the various drugs and clinical research.  This is the one and the only course that can pursue after Class 12th

Therefore, to get admission to Pharm.D all candidates need to check the eligibility criteria. Pharm.D course includes theoretical studies along with practical work experience and projects which helps the students to understand the clinical research, medical biochemistry, Phytopharmaceuticals aspects, Pharmacognosy etc. Candidates need to more focused during the learning process and practical period.  After successful completion, of course, Candidates are entitled to get lucrative job opportunities from both the private sector and public sector. Pharm.D Course Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have cleared Class 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry Subject with at least 55% of marks as mandatory Subject.
  • The candidates to have qualified in their Class 12th with mathematics or Biology with at least 60% of marks. 
  • Some colleges and universities conduct their entrance exam to offer admission in Pharm.D
